  1. Open Instagram App on your Android/iPhone and swipe left to open a story creation section. Allow all the required permissions.
  2. Make sure that the ‘Story’ option is selected.
  3. Then tap on the ‘photo picker‘ icon and select the 1st photo that you want to add.
  4. Then pinch in to zoom out the photo and adjust the place and size of the photo as per your liking. Adjust the photo on the screen by dragging the photo with two fingers.
  5. Now, tap on the Stickers icon to open the stickers section.

  6. In the ‘stickers list,’ click on the ‘photos‘ icon shown in the below image. (You can also select the camera icon to take a photo of the second image directly).

  7. Then select the second image you want to add to a single story. Adjust the photo on the screen by dragging the photo with two fingers.
  8. Now, to add the third, fourth, and more photos, repeat the same procedure from step 5 to step 7.

  9. Once you finish adding the photos, tap on the ‘Your Story‘ or ‘Send To‘ option and share your story with the followers.

Method 2 – How to add multiple photos to one Instagram Story using the Layout option?

Instagram has a layout feature for a story feature. We can use this feature to add multiple photos to a single Instagram story.

  1. Open Instagram App on your Android/iPhone and swipe left to open a story creation section. Allow all the required permissions.
  2. Now, tap on the ‘Layout’ icon as shown in the image. You can also select the layout style as per your liking.

  3. Then, you have to add photos one by one to each section of the layout. You can directly take a photo or tap on the ‘photo picker‘ icon at the bottom and then select the photo you want to add to the first section of the layout.
  4. Repeat the same procedure to add the photos to all the layout sections.
  5. Once you finish the tap on the Right Icon at the bottom and then tap on the ‘Send To‘ button.
  6. Then share the story your all the followers, close friends, or any individual contact.

Method 3 – How to add multiple photos to a single Instagram story using the collage app.

If you want to be more creative and want to add multiple photos using different and new styles, you can use any third-party app to create a collage.

For instance, we are using the Picsart photo editor app to create a beautiful collage.

  1. Open the Collage maker App (For now, it’s Picsart for me).
  2. Select the ‘Create Collage‘ app from the menu.
  3. Select the Layout for the Collage; also select the background color and other design features.
  4. Select the photos you want to add in a collage and then tap on Download image.
  5. Save the image to the phone memory.
  6. Now, open the Instagram app and swipe left to open the Story feature.
  7. Then tap on the photo picker icon and then select the collage photo that you have saved just now.
  8. Then share the photo with followers, close friends, or individual contact as a DM.
