  3. On the left-right corner, you’ll see the File option. Click on that.

Solution 3 – How to fix critical error your start menu isn’t working by deleting Tile Data File

This invisible file can harm your computer. You need to locate the file and delete this.

  1. Open task manager.
  2. Click on Filecreate a new task.
  3. Type cmd there, check the box, and click on ok

Solution 4 – Safe boot

  1. Go to task manager.

  4. Now go to the services tab and disable all.

  5. Then go to startup tabopen task managerDisable.
  6. Now click on apply followed by ok.
  7. Restart your PC.
  8. If this fixes your issue, then any third-party software was causing this problem.
  9. Find the software by enabling (step 4 where we clicked on disabled all) one at a time.
  10. Keep doing this until you find the culprit

Solution 5 – Uninstall Or Update Anti-Virus

If you are using antivirus software, then maybe this software is causing this problem.

Windows come with an inbuilt windows defender; you need to disable this before running your antivirus software. Two antiviruses cannot run at the same time.

First of all, open your antivirus software, and locate where the update button is. Update your software. After the update is complete, restart your computer. If you still see this message, you need to uninstall your antivirus software.

To uninstall, follow these steps –

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Now go to apps
  3. Scroll down and find antivirus software.

Solution 6 – Reset your PC

If any of the above solutions didn’t work for you, you now have one last way left.

  1. Open your settings menu.
  2. Now click on update and security.
  3. Then click on recovery.
  4. Now click on Reset this PC. Get started.
  5. You’ll now see to options. One is, keep my files, and another is, remove everything. Click on Keep My Files.
